Honored As One Of the Phenomenal Women of North Fulton

We are proud to announce that our President, and Owner, Katherine Simons was honored on Wednesday, March 8th as one of the Phenomenal Woman of North Fulton.  The North Fulton Express Network of the American Business Women's Association recognized ten local women at an elegant luncheon event at the Roswell Founders Hall on Canton Street. 

The honorees were all selected based on their professional experiences and their service to the community at large. The honorees include (shown from left to right) Katherine Simons, Pat DiGeorge, Rebecca Deutch, P.K. Beville, Ph.D, Joie Hain (top middle), Karen Couillard (down middle), Freda Hardage, Phyllis Schmidt, Elizabeth Clark Price, and Barbara Duffy (Kathy Swan, shown here, accepted the award on her behalf.)

Katherine Simons is not only the President and Owner of Medical Staffing Resources, a division of DDS Staffing Resources, Inc., but is also actively involved in the community.  She volunteers her time with professional organizations like the Board of Dental Advisors where she was charter president, The Alternative Board, The North Fulton Chamber of Commerce, and the Northern District Dental Society Gala. She is Past President of the Georgia Association of Personnel Services and current District Director of the National Association of Personnel Services.  She has given much of her time to organizations such as Habitat for Humanity and North Fulton Community Charities.  Katherine has utilized her background in staffing to lead a Resume Review Team at the Job Networking group organized by Roswell United Methodist Church. 

Katherine was joined at this event by friends and colleagues, as well as by the family members who work with her. Her husband, Craig, is COO of Medical Staffing Resources. Her son-in-law, Tim Rush, is Vice-President of Corporate Development. Katherine’s daughter, Ginger Moss, also works for the company as Marketing Administrator.

The American Business Women's Association's mission is to bring together businesswomen of diverse occupations and to provide opportunities for them to help themselves and others grow personally and professionally through leadership, education, networking support, and national recognition.  DDS Staffing Resources, Inc. is pleased that they have chosen Katherine to be a recipient of such a prestigious award.
